 The submitter replied in private that this was not the real problem:
 the real problem with the XFree86-4 port is that packages still
 register a dependency on XFree86-4-libraries.  Then, when the package
 is removed or updated, pkg_delete/portupdate/whatever fails to find
 the XFree86-4-libraries port, and complains benignly.
