sorry to post this here, but i can't find any useful XFree resources/lists about the subject i recently got XFree4.0 working on my FreeBSD 4.0 Release machine and have everything working well... except i cannot find any information about how to use the new truetype renderers. i'm pretty sure it's simply a matter of my fonts.dir file being incorrect, but neither ttmkfdir (which used to work with xfsft) nor the scant release documentation have enough info to help me out. has anyone had any more luck than i have?
