1)  Use ATAPI.FLP for the boot floppy image.

If that doesn't work:

2)  Move the CDROM around on the IDE bus(ses).  ie master->slave, 
controller 1-> controller 2 and so on.

Media type?  FTP, of course.  Make sure you set the ftp error option to 
'retry' if you want to ftp a CD mounted on another machine.  This forces 
sysinstall to try some alternate paths when searching for the distfiles.
