Yes, it uses a NCR/Symbios Logic chipset. I've been using a Diamond
Firport 40 U/W (c875 chipset) for about a year with an IBM 4.5GB U/W
HD and a Toshiba 32x CD-ROM attached and have had no problems. It uses
the ncr0 driver.

It was less than half the price of an Adaptec 2940UW here in the UK
