ports/sysutils/xmbmon
    http://www.nt.phys.kyushu-u.ac.jp/shimizu/download/download.html

combine that with ports/net/rrdtool
    http://ee-staff.ethz.ch/~oetiker/webtools/rrdtool/

and a little bit of scripting to generate graphs of the trends over
time.  Actually, if you grab xmbmon 2.0 from the kyushu-u site I
believe it comes with some sample scripts to do just that.
