 * It needs this path only if you happen to run the Configure script
 * manually.  It should have both /usr/lib and /usr/lib/aout in the
 * search path, so it should be ok to build on stable.  It only needs
 * this to locate the libc so it can scan it for functions.

Ok.  From my casual glance it seemed like it was hardcoding the libc
path to "/usr/lib/aout/libc.a".  (I did compile it on -stable, but I
didn't run it.)  Thanks.
