Subject:   Clean reboot on current

When I do a few syncs and a "reboot" command, I get a string of
numbers like

3 3 3 3 3 3   "giving up"

On rebooting the system, I get notified that the clean flag has not
been reset and it fscks completely every time.

My FreeBSD disk is the second disk on a EIDE controller and I boot
using "bootany" .
