When I do a few syncs and a "reboot" command, I get a string of numbers like 3 3 3 3 3 3 "giving up" On rebooting the system, I get notified that the clean flag has not been reset and it fscks completely every time. My FreeBSD disk is the second disk on a EIDE controller and I boot using "bootany" . Clarence Wilkerson
