Just above that list you may notice these pertinent lines:

"If an entry is marked with an *, it means that support is currently
 not available for it but should be back as soon as someone converts
 the driver to work within the new 3.0 framework."

The aic driver hasn't been converted to work with the new CAM SCSI
framework.  Your choices are:

1) Use FreeBSD 2.2.8.
2) Convert the driver.
3) Wait for someone else to convert the driver.
