 A workaround:
 Remove nvidia-driver port, then upgrade xorg-clients. After that you can 
 reinstall nvidia-driver.
 If xorg-clients upgrade still fails after removing nvidia-driver, force 
 reinstall of xorg-libraries to get back glx libraries from X.Org and then try 
 upgrading.
