I finally got my modem working. I am using Freebsd PAO 2.2.5, I setup the stuff for kernel ppp. And can log onto the internet. But then the problems start, when for example i ftp, and ls in a large dir. , and data starts to come down the line. I get stuff like this: ------ Jun 5 11:40:22 localhost /kernel: sio2: 1 more interrupt-level buffer overflow (total 1) Jun 5 11:40:44 localhost /kernel: sio2: 118 more interrupt-level buffer overflows (total 119) Jun 5 11:40:52 localhost /kernel: sio2: 81 more interrupt-level buffer overflows (total 200) Jun 5 11:41:16 localhost /kernel: sio2: 60 more interrupt-level buffer overflows (total 260) Jun 5 11:41:21 localhost /kernel: sio2: 118 more interrupt-level buffer overflows (total 378) Jun 5 11:41:25 localhost /kernel: sio2: 23 more interrupt-level buffer overflows (total 401) Jun 5 11:41:37 localhost /kernel: sio2: 4 more interrupt-level buffer overflows (total 405) ---- Etc. On a 56k modem this just suck, the flow of data is constantly interrupted. All help wanted please, I really need to get this modem working. Thanks :) ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-mobile" in the body of the message
