search the archives, i've seen a couple of posts about people's computers s=
tuck @ 1,000 msec . ( u should let it sit for a while...i vaguely remember =
in mine getting unstuck after 5 minutes or not...i solved it, but i cant re=
member what it was).

anyway, have you tried breaking the menu, disabling APIC and then booting?

my laptops havent been able to boot unless I did that. now i just have=20
hint.apic.0.disabled=3D"1"

in /boot/loader.conf.local
