Hi, I have a problem with my root password. I changed the password with passwd yesterday, wrote the password down and now I can not log into the system as root. I keep getting a login incorrect response. I know that the password that I am entering is correct. Other users on the system can log in OK. Is there any way to alter the password without logging in as root? ie. with the fixit disc? Thanks in advance, Kim Perkins Information Resources Manager Strathcona BGGS EMAIL::kperkins@hub.strathcona.vic.edu.au
