https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=196669 Bug ID: 196669 Summary: x11/sterm not recognised by termcap on 10.1 Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: amd64 OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: freebsd-ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: blackfox@teamblackfox.com CC: kitche@kitchetech.com CC: kitche@kitchetech.com Flags: maintainer-feedback?(kitche@kitchetech.com) Created attachment 151522 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=151522&action=edit Provides termcap information for st x11/sterm compiled from ports tree, but displays oddly and many programs such as tmux, screen, top etc. do not run properly with the $TERM variable set to st-256color. The problem appears to be that the port is not updating the termcap, resulting in the system being unable to recognise the terminal emulator. I have tried, and failed to get the termcap updated properly. I have already attempted the obvious, using tic with the st.info file from the official source code on st.suckless.org, but that has not made a difference. In any case, the port should be updating the system's termcap to prevent any issues for the end user. I have attached a copy of the latest st.info so that this change can be mae. --- Comment #1 from Bugzilla Automation <bugzilla@FreeBSD.org> --- Maintainer CC'd -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
