You can _add_ an entry with the additional IP-Address, but /etc/hosts is
only used for the specific host. If you want other computers to resolv the
new name as well, you either have to edit /etc/hosts on every computer, or
you have to add an entry to the corresponding named files. (Hint: DNS)
