It's being done so manually . An automated solution is really the right
thing to do.

(1) That's a bitch to type (I know.. "so bookmark it")
(2) Without a working knowledge of cvsup, no-one thinks to look there.
(3) /handbook/porting.html doesn't mention that.

I knew such a page existed (actually, I assumed, because I know the cvs
tree is online). Regardless, the above page should be mentioned in
/handbook/porting.html and instructions on how to view the cvs log for
that file manually should be given.
