Note: the errors/retries are the result of having the CD player in the Gnome panel probing for a CD (there was a DVD inserted however), after which I ejected the disk, reinserted the disk and finally killed off the CD player :-) > When did you build the last kernel without the problem? I don't know, because the flood of BUS reset messages has wiped out 6 days of kernel logs in just minutes :-) I normally keep my machines within one (sometimes two) weeks of HEAD and I think this machine has been running without the "extra precautions", so I think it was not older than 5 days...
