You need the old guspnp driver.  Grab
ftp://gdi.uoregon.edu/pub/guspnp11.tar.gz, extract into the kernel source,
config with the given device line, compile, install, be happy. :)  Beyond
guspnp12 or so it is based on -CURRENT (and the poll() call, grrr).
