No it shouldn't.  However, CVSup is a port, rather than a part of the
FreeBSD base system, so this should ideally have gone to 
cvsup-bugs@polstra.com.  Thanks for the report though.

I've forwarded your message on to John Polstra, who has said that the
next release will have that note removed from the documentation.
