I have just completed doing a search on pnp support on the mailing archives searching webpage. There was a lot of talk of pnp about a year ago on these archives, but considering how things change over the course of a year, I wonder if there is any new information. I gather from reading some of the messages that freebsd will support some pnp cards, but overall doesn't support pnp? Here is the jam I am in. I have a NE2000 clone isa pnp card. Of course, I could disable pnp support, but I don't always have sighted assistance around to assist me in taking off the correct jumpers and or changing a setting in the bios. As a result, I would like to get the card to agree with freebsd hopefully in pnp mode. I read in the archives that there is a few patches for pnp and something called pnp info? I am running 2.2.2 release, if that means anything. If someone can please let me know if these types of cards are supported already before I go on a long search to find these "patches?" I am trying to do as much reading on this stuff as I can, but most of the messages are over a year old. :) Thanks for any information. Jeremy
