I attempted to install both FreeBSD 3.3 and 3.4 onto
a system with an Intel cc820 mohterboard. In both cases,
the system would completely lock up when the sysinstall
program said that it was "probing devices".

A temporary solution was to install FreeBSD onto disk
from another system, then re-attach the disk to the
cc820 board. The OS works fine -- only the install is
a problem.
