 Fri Nov 8 22:57:27 PST 2002 freebsd@bilogic.org:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/LOCAL i386
>Description:
sys/i386/i386/identcpu.c rev 1.96-1.98 add a number of definitions for cpuid
bits. While these are cosmetic changes, it would be nice to have the correct
definitions be printed out in -STABLE. Rev 1.96 is probably the least
important, as it's IA-64 only, but 1.97 is HTT (Xeon) and 1.98 is Athlon MP.
>How-To-Repeat:
Boot -STABLE on a Xeon (with hyperthreading) or Athlon MP (or IA-64 :).
>Fix:
MFC rev 1.96-1.98 of sys/i386/i386/identcpu.c (or 1.97-1.98 if preferred).
