Hi ppl! I'm programming in C and hence is using sockets under FreeBSD. But unlike with SystemV IPC message exchange I didn't find the way I can define timeout for blocking socket operations for not be infinitely waiting them. I can use non-blocking calls and nanosleeps but tis ugly and sometimes doesn't work properly, especially with UDP sockets. Can anybody help me? Or at least to point the docs if available.
