: Does the newpcm system support the Sound Blaster 128 PCI card (ESS1371
: chipset)? I am aware of a pcm dirver for it in STABLE, but I have not
: tried it.

Looking at src/sys/dev/sound/pci/es137x.c, we find the comment:

 * Support the ENSONIQ AudioPCI board and Creative Labs SoundBlaster PCI
 * boards based on the ES1370, ES1371 and ES1373 chips.

and it probes my es1370 board properly. Haven't tried to play my mp3s
on it yet.

pcm0: <AudioPCI ES1370> irq 5 at device 17.0 on pci0
