Hello,

I'm running 4.3 Stable compiled on Friday and am having problems getting
gnome to build and install.

The following ports have been installed as dependancies to other ports:

gnomeaudio-1.4.0
gnomecontrolcenter-1.4.0.1
gnomecore-1.4.0.4
gnomedb-0.2.10
gnomelibs-1.2.13_2
gnomeprint-0.29
gnomevfs-1.0.1

When I attempt to start gnome-session it dies with the
following error:
/usr/libexec/ld-elf.so.1: Shared object "libgnomecanvaspixbuf.so.1" not found

I did a search for the file but was not able to find it on my hard drive. I
verified that I have the port gdk-pixbuf-0.11.0_1 installed but the file
still is not there.

I did not have the gnome meta-port installed so I attempted to install it but
the build failed with:

I have searched the archives but I could find only one other person who
experienced this problem and there were no replies to the message. I also
did searches on Yahoo and metacrawler which revealed that debian also had
this problem. I looked on the Gnome website and freshmeat but have yet to
solve this problem.

I have XFree86-4.1.0_3 installed with KDE.

I appreciate the time and response of anyone who replies to this message.
