I haven't figured out a clean way to add libc5.so properly so that is why I haven't taken any action on this. My lack of knowledge as far as linux and shared libraries is also at fault. But I think we need to bite the bullet and force everything to linux_base v7 and fix what doesn't like it, most likely by adding the compat library which seems to be my original idea. > If you want people to help, communicate and let people know what you're > up to. David has mentioned this on the list many times, I think he's just tired of it getting nowhere and the lack of people willing to help or expertise to help .
