hi,
I just want to know whether there is a sucess story of mod_jk on FreeBSD !
I have been trying for 4 days installing mod_jk2 or mod_jk for apache 2.0.46 and
 tomcat 4.1.24.
here is uname -a:
FreeBSD parszamin 4.8-STABLE FreeBSD 4.8-STABLE #0: Thu Jun 19 19:48:36 EDT 2003
+root@parszamin:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/TEHRAN_DEBUG_KERNEL i386

I've tried with gcc version 2.95.x and gcc version 3.2.3.
host$ libtool --version
ltmain.sh (GNU libtool) 1.3.4-freebsd-ports (1.385.2.196 1999/12/07 21:47:57)

On the freebsd site, the port says mod_jk-apache2-1.2.2. I cvsup the ports and
only the directories mod_jk2 and mod_jk are present and not mod_jk-apache2-1.2.2.
When I do make, I get this error for either mod_jk or mod_jk2:
<--
libtool: link: `../common/jk_ajp12_worker.lo' is not a valid libtool object
gmake[1]: *** [mod_jk.la] Error 1
gmake[1]: Leaving directory
+`/usr/ports/www/mod_jk2/work/jakarta-tomcat-connectors-jk-1.2.2-src/jk/native/apache-2.0'
gmake: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
*** Error code 2

Stop in /usr/ports/www/mod_jk2.
-->
Has anyone been able to install this ? Please help. Thanks.
