I am having a problem with the ports and now wonder if anyone knows what the problem might be. Every port I try to build fails, as seen below: alligator# cd /usr/ports/x11-wm/blackbox/ alligator# make install ===> Extracting for blackbox-0.62.1 >> Checksum mismatch for blackbox-0.62.1.tar.gz. Make sure the Makefile and distinfo file (/usr/ports/x11-wm/blackbox/distinfo) are up to date. If you are absolutely sure you want to override this check, type "make NO_CHECKSUM=yes [other args]". *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/x11-wm/blackbox. alligator# make NO_CHECKSUM=yes ===> Extracting for blackbox-0.62.1 ===> blackbox-0.62.1 depends on shared library: X11.6 - found /usr/bin/tar: archive - EOF not on block boundary *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/x11-wm/blackbox. alligator# cd ../xfce/ alligator# make install If you want to enable anti-aliased font support, hit Ctrl-C right now and use "make WITH_XFT=yes" ===> Extracting for xfce-3.8.14c_1 >> Checksum mismatch for xfce-3.8.14c.tar.gz. Make sure the Makefile and distinfo file (/usr/ports/x11-wm/xfce/distinfo) are up to date. If you are absolutely sure you want to override this check, type "make NO_CHECKSUM=yes [other args]". *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/x11-wm/xfce. alligator# Thanks. -Wash -- Odhiambo Washington <wash@wananchi.com> "The box said 'Requires Wananchi Online Ltd. www.wananchi.com Windows 95, NT, or better,' Tel: 254 2 313985-9 Fax: 254 2 313922 so I installed FreeBSD."
