Did you try the other flash plugin? (don't remember the package name)

Unfortunately, Netscrap on FreeBSD is notorious for crashing on JAVA
sites. Personally, I keep JAVA support turned off.

Hopefully, mozilla will be better when completed. That would be what's
in the works right now.
