Dear Dir / Madam,

We are a hardware distributor for the Dutch market our company name is
Maxcom NV and we are located in Tiel (The Netherlands, Western Europe)

We provide Storage Solutions to our Dealer and Reseller Network and are for
instance distributor for MYLEX and ADAPTEC RAID controllers.

According to your supported hardware list for FREE BSD, me and a few
customers of ours noticed that there are only a few supported RAID
Controllers and the ones that are supported are already end of life ( out
of production )

The current models are for Mylex:
AcceleRAID 170 series (32 Bit, PCI RAID controller)
AcceleRAID 352 series (64 Bit, PCI RAID controller)
eXtremeRAID 2000 & 3000 series (64 Bit, PCI RAID controller)

For Adaptec / DPT (Digital Processing Technology is now an Adaptec Company)
2100S (32 Bit, PCI RAID controller)
3200S (64 Bit, PCI RAID controller)
3400S (64 Bit, PCI RAID controller)

Most important for now is when the drivers for the 2100S controller will be
available for FREE BSD.

Please keep me informed on this issue.

Best Regards,

Wim Verbruggen
