Thanks, but this is for my server which does not have a sound card,
just the PC speaker. Try spkrtest(8) to see what I mean. I thought
some of the old fogeys here might have a secret collection stashed
away as memorabilia with their fountain pens and whale bone corsets.
If not I might have to write some myself to save a dying art.
