Rudeness was not an intention...... humor was... note, please, the doubt 
about ability was SELF directed....

I read the parts you mentioned...   .. perhaps I should add that I did not 
build not set-up this particular computer and  there IS no /usr/src source 
tree.. it is in an attempt to create/replace it, etc that I began working 
with (and misunderstanding) CVS ..
