I have a 4.4 machine setup to sniff and store network traffic (from 5 to
15Mb/s) which has been locking up, leaving nothing in
/var/adm/messages. The console port is also dead (via serial). I
killed one of the capture programs we use (argus), but left the other
(tcpdump) running. While the machine hasn't locked up since, I have
been getting the following errors. Is the drive failing? Could this be
the cause of the previous lockups? The drive in the below logs is used
solely for archiving the network data (the entire drive is used by slice
ad1s1e).

thanks for any help.
