It couldn't have been a few days for the above problems since the new
ld code just went in yesterday.  I'm in the processing of doing the
correct fix now.

Not sure about these errors.  Peter would be the one to answer it, but
it's probably something rebuilding config would solve.  (Ie: when all
else fails, rebuilt and re-install config)
