Hi!! FreeBSD is (IMHO) the number freely availiable UNIX. It will give you an excellent understanding of UNIX if you work hard at it. I have been using it for about 5 months. It is a learning curve but also the most fun I've ever had on a computer. I ran a dual boot with Win95 for a while until I learned enough about FreeBSD. Dual boot will work great as long as Windows is installed first. The FBSD set-up will install the boot manager for you. Good Luck!! Another question I have is Can I install FreeBSD and still be >able set it up so that I can run my windows system, or it with relative >ease. > >thanks, >Matt Marsman >mmarsman@cts.com > > >To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org >with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message > > To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
