Sorry for the typo, it's an SPF 800P.  (There's also a 1000P
which differs only in the size of the display.)

You mean obexapp?  Are you sure that it would work?  I'm
hesitant to buy a $200 device that might not work the way
I need it ...

Actually I hoped that someone who owns such a photo frame
could confirm (or deny) that it works.  Probably too much
to hope for.  :-)

Sure I could do that (I would probably use a WLAN connection
instead of bluetooth, though).  But I don't have the space
for a PC.  I only have space for a display on the wall (the
smaller, the better), and a power outlet for the display.
There is no space for a PC, and I can't use a cable connection
(usb, ethernet, whatever).  So I need a display that can be
updated wireless from a FreeBSD server that's located in a
different room.

This bluetooth photo frame seemed like it could do the job,
but unless an owner of such a device can confirm, I'm not
going to buy it.
