You have to use the visual kernel configuration thingy to set the correct
values for the ne2000's io, irq and memio. While you're there, you should
disable all other ethernet devices.
When you get to sysinstall's first screen, you can press 'Scroll Lock' and
use the up-arrow key to scroll back and check if your card was probed
properly.
