I'm not sure why this dodgy data is being sent - I've heard lots of reports like this. However, that in itself isn't the cause of your failed connection... How about enabling some more logging to find out what the problem is ? Check out the FAQ at http://www.FreeBSD.org/FAQ/ppp.html. > Does any one have a clue what may be going on here. > > I am using the user-ppp and after I get the correct user & password I get > the warning below and then the isdn hangsup. > > Thanks in advance > > Martin.. > > > Phase: Chap Input: SUCCESS > Phase: 1: lcp -> open > Phase: bundle: Network > Warning: Unrecognised CBCP packet (code 5, length 4) > Phase: 1: open -> lcp > Phase: bundle: Terminate > Phase: 1: Carrier lost > Phase: 1: Disconnected! > Phase: 1: lcp -> logout > Phase: 1: Disconnected! > Phase: 1: logout -> hangup > Phase: 1: Connect time: 8 secs: 231 octets in, 341 octets out > Phase: 1: : 216 packets in, 203 packets out -- Brian <brian@Awfulhak.org> <brian@[uk.]FreeBSD.org> <http://www.Awfulhak.org> <brian@[uk.]OpenBSD.org> Don't _EVER_ lose your sense of humour !
