I can't measure vaporware.  Supposing that all were to happen, I
suppose we'd just have to benchmark it and see what actually
happens. :)

Utah-glx is not actually all that bad, considering.  It doesn't
exactly have full vendor support and highly customized vendor-specific
drivers, but it's had awhile to mature too.
