I found the following typo in the FreeBSD manual under section 4.5.4.2: ----------------------------------------------------- To avoid using ports, specify -PP. # portupgrade -PR gnome2 ----------------------------------------------------- "To avoid using ports, specify -PP." should be changed to: "To avoid using ports, specify -PR."
