There was a commit or two that made kdelibs use libtool properly,
and not install the effectively-useless <libraryname>.la turds.

For some completely bizarre reason, other KDE ports look for
the existence of the .la file, instead of the library itself,
to determine whether or not "KDE libraries exist".

I believe Will is working on some patches for the KDE ports to
fix this behavior.

Y'all should be using GNOME anyway ;)
