https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=195530 Bug ID: 195530 Summary: pkg catalog not updating Product: Ports Tree Version: Latest Hardware: amd64 OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Some People Priority: --- Component: Infrastructure Assignee: freebsd-ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: nwhitehorn@FreeBSD.org My pkg catalog (recently, the one with vim-7.4.430_2.txz in it) would not let me install packages because the packages were not found. For example, 63 MB to be downloaded. Proceed with this action? [y/N]: y pkg: http://pkg.FreeBSD.org/freebsd:10:x86:64/latest/All/vim-7.4.430_2.txz: Not Found This turned out to be due to the catalog being out of date. pkg update, however, said it was up to date. After a pkg update -f, it got replaced with a working copy. Something seems faulty with the update logic here. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
