Sendmail-8.9.x was working fine in fbsd-4.1.1
When I cvsup'd with the stable-supfile, Sendmail runs but will Not accept
nor receive mail for me.

When I try to sendmail from my win-98 box on the lan with outlook-express I
get;
The message could not be sent because the server rejected the sender's
e-mail address. The sender's e-mail address was 'foo@blah.shacknet.nu'.
Subject 'freak', Account: 'foo', Server: '192.168.0.2', Protocol: SMTP,
Server Response: '553 5.3.0 crip.domain.net', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No,
Server Error: 553, Error Number: 0x800CCC78

The sendmail logs show the following when I try to send that same mail
(above);
sendmail[653]: NOQUEUE: connect from crip.domain.net [192.168.0.3]
sendmail[653]: eA7GvIJ00653: ruleset=check_relay, arg1=crip.domain.net,
arg2=192.168.0.3, relay=crip.domain.net [192.168.0.3], reject=553 5.3.0
crip.domain.net
sendmail[653]: NOQUEUE: crip.domain.net [192.168.0.3] did not issue
