I followed the directions at
http://freebsdzine.org/199907/features/tnt.html to install hardware GL
support for my Diamond V550. Everything went fine, but when I try the
command...
xlock -nolock -mode bubble3d

it crashes my X session...I'm left at the shell prompt that I started X
at...

Here is the output that shows that the GLX module is loaded...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
$ xdpyinfo | egrep 'depth of|GLX'
    GLX
  depth of root window:    24 planes
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

How can I test my install to make sure hardware acceleration is working?
Beyond that...why is the bubble3d mode of xlock crashing X?
