If you'd like to port it, see the Porter's Handbook:

	http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/porters-handbook/

If you'd like to just see if it compiles, etc., read the docs that came 
with the software (README, INSTALL, etc.).
