deflateInit_ is clearly part of DEFLATE option,
so you likely didn't build your kernel properly.
You say you don't have their bypass card, so why
do you expect the bypass driver to load? Perhaps
you need patches that you get when you buy a
card?

More curiously, why don't you ask them rather
than us?
