Randomly, and without warning, my mouse cursor will freeze up while in X, and I will get this error on the console: psmintr: out of sync (0000 != 0008) I've been having these problems with my Microsoft PS/2 Intellimouse ever since I cvsup'd to FreeBSD 4.4-RC1 (I'm running 4.4-RELEASE now). Usually restarting moused fixes everything, but occasionally even that doesn't help and I have to reboot the system. I've tried adding "flags x100" to the psm line in my kernel config. All this does is eliminate the error message, and instead of freezing, the mouse cursor gets glued to the one side of the screen or the cursor will jump around and click randomly. Is this a known bug that is being worked on, or have I misconfigured something? I freshly reinstalled 4.4-release (so that I could repartition my hard drive), and everything mouse related was set up by the config utility and XF86Setup. Any help would be welcome.
