To Whom It MAy Concern,

I am currently researching what it would take for me to put either Slackware
Linux or FreeBSD on one of my computers. Free BSD sounds like it would be
great and a little more technically oriented, but I am concerned about the
compatibility with the hardware on my unit. I am running an IBM 55sx (MCA
Bus) with 120mb esdi hd and 8mb ram. This unit has a 386sx.

I found documentation on your site with regard to most of my questions, but I
am concerned about any conflicts which may be raised by the MCA bus.
I would appreciate any advice you could give on the compatibility of the
FreeBSD os with MCA architechture. Any other advice on an install on this
system would be appreciated as well.

David Mitchell
