a PAS-16, no sound is emitted and processes using the /dev/dsp devices hang,
even after a recompile.

	Compile NAS-1.2p2, run au -aa & attempt to use auplay to play a sound.

	No helpful suggestions so far (but plenty of unprintable ones!)
