In fact, the device doesn't attach to uhci either, and I've tried on 3 different machines. On Intel 82801BA/BAM (ICH2) USB controller USB-A as opposing to more newer ICHes, it says USB_ERR_STALLED instead of USB_ERR_TIMEOUT.
