I just installed current on a box with an Adaptec 2940 Ultra/Ultra W (SCSISelect v1.23). It's stalling whilst detecting the CD (vanilla Toshiba, I've run 'em on various 2.2 and 2.1 installations for a long time...) - spends about 5 minutes on it: <usual deletia> Probing for devices on PCI bus 0: chip0: <Intel 82437FX PCI cache memory controller> rev 0x01 on pci0.0.0 chip1: <Intel 82371FB PCI to ISA bridge> rev 0x02 on pci0.7.0 ahc0: <Adaptec 2940 Ultra SCSI host adapter> rev 0x00 int a irq 10 on pci0.13.0 ahc0: aic7880 Wide Channel, SCSI Id=7, 16 SCBs ahc0: waiting for scsi devices to settle scbus0 at ahc0 bus 0 sd0 at scbus0 target 0 lun 0 sd0: <CONNER CFP1060S 1.05GB 2135> type 0 fixed SCSI 2 sd0: Direct-Access 1013MB (2074880 512 byte sectors) sd1 at scbus0 target 1 lun 0 sd1: <SEAGATE ST32151N 0284> type 0 fixed SCSI 2 sd1: Direct-Access 2049MB (4197405 512 byte sectors) ahc0:A:4: refuses WIDE negotiation.
