I just installed current on a box with an Adaptec 2940 Ultra/Ultra W
(SCSISelect v1.23).

It's stalling whilst detecting the CD (vanilla Toshiba, I've run 'em
on various 2.2 and 2.1 installations for a long time...) - spends about 5
minutes on it:

<then everything proceeds>
I haven't built a new kernel or anything yet, just wondering if this is a
known problem and if there's a fix.

thanks,
